.How to get there
The success story of Anja Graf, founder of Vision Apartments has inspired me from the very beginning. 15 years ago today, the then 21-year-old had the courage and the vision to set up a company that offers high quality furnished apartment rental with services. First in Zurich and later in other European cities such as Berlin, Lausanne, Munich, Vienna, Warsaw, more apartments will soon be available in Frankfurt, Geneva, and Vevey.
It all started with a few apartments from her agency that were temporarily available. The unique thing about it: the apartments are all stylishly furnished. Exactly how Anja would like an apartment furnished for her. This concept she still holds firm to this day. "Each apartment is set up in a way so that even I would like to live in it," she says.
With Vision Apartments, the tenants even have a choice of different design concepts. Including apartments done in a classic, as well as, Asian, Mediterranean or alpine style. Each of these concepts reflects the owner’s discerning flair and has been developed with a dedicated architectural team.
Vision Apartments offers the "professional nomads", as Anja calls her clientele, more than stylish apartments. In addition to WLAN, a laundry service, and a central location - an absolute must at each address - new, so-called "Common Areas" are being planned. These communal areas include fitness studios, wellness areas, or VIP lounges.
And so in turn, Anja captures the zeitgeist defined by modern needs. In accordance with trend forecaster Li Edelkoort’s propagated "nomadism", Anja applies the concept, together with the spreading trend of "sharing". "People do not want to have more things, but would rather partake," states the Süddeutsche. The mentality is: "Only as much as I need and immediately".
Immediate advice and chauffeur to the apartment of the client’s choice is also being offered at the newly opened customer contact point at Steinmühleplatz in Zurich. And if I were still working as a consultant as I did previously, undertaking projects in different cities, then Vision Apartments would definitely be my first port of call.
