For a long time the two couples Roberta and Tobias Zingg and Corinne and Christof Müller wanted to fulfill the dream of having a web-shop. Each of the four possesses skills, which combine to form a successful team. Finally, about a year ago, it happened – the launch of their online children's fashion boutique, Stadtlandkind.
Roberta brings her delicacy of feeling to the right choice of a range, Corinne takes great care of the customer service side, Tobias manages e-marketing and finance, and Christof lives out his passion as an Art Director for Graphic Design. The result is impressive, with Stadtlandkind being a serious contender as 'Newcomer' for the E-commerce Award 2014.
Well-known brands such as 'Bobo Choses', 'Mini Rodini' and 'Soft Gallery', and also a number of exciting new labels can be found at Stadtlandkind. Among them is the timeless Swiss label 'Bergflocke', with its beautiful baby clothes in soft cream shades in pure organic cotton, and 'Noé & Zoë', a young label from Berlin, also producing quality organic fashion for leisure-loving city children.
Regarding the brand selection, Roberta places great emphasis on quality. She recently cancelled an order after she learned that, during production of a certain label, chemicals are used to make the clothes smell better. Of equal importance to Roberta is that the clothing is not only of high quality, but comfortable and fun for the children and not only for the parents to adore.
She has, after all, the sense for beautiful and trendy up-coming labels. New arrivals include the cool organic shirts from 'Lion of Leisure', the hand-made leather shoes from the Spanish cult brand 'MAÀ', and the minimalist jewelry by Petit Laszlo for mini-fashionistas. In my view, 'Stadtlandkind' definitely deserves the E-Commerce Award as ‘Newcomer’ – so fingers crossed!
