Old Fashion Bar Vintage Restaurant with a twist

Whether for lunch or dinner, after work or a quick cocktail, you can enjoy a classic vintage ambience uniquely at the Old Fashion Bar in the heart of Zurich.

As the oldest bar in the city, it offers an incomparable atmosphere that is stylish and historic. Antique furniture dominates the room, which is decorated in shades of red, and a small terrace in the inner courtyard, adorned with green plants, invites you to linger while escaping the hustle and bustle of the city near Bahnhofstrasse and Paradeplatz.

Here, the kitchen is open throughout, with international and classic dishes. Whether it's a delicious shrimp cocktail on toast or an aromatic artichoke with spicy vinaigrette, a creamy vitello tonnato or a wafer-thin sliced beef carpaccio accompanied by black truffle and marinated rocket salad, the starters and fresh salad creations are a delight.

Three different club sandwiches are served as the main course. Whether in veggie style with avocado and aubergine, courgette and peppers with fried egg, pommes allumettes or salad, or the 'old fashion' sandwich with chicken and fried egg, bacon and salad. Here you can just take a hearty bite and enjoy.

By the way, the 'Club Sandwich Japonaise' is particularly unusual, uniquely composed with sashimi quality tuna and wakame, avocado, and pommes allumetes. Exquisite wines and sparkling cocktails accompany the selected dishes most exquisitely. On Thursdays to Saturdays, the bar also plays music and transforms into a club in the late evening, where regional DJs set the pace.

In addition, the Old Fashion Bar surprises with a special service. Beautiful flower bouquets can be ordered directly to the restaurant in the in-house flower boutique 'Blooms & Bubbles'. Just in case you want to give someone an unusual treat.
