Since I discovered 'francis ebet' about two years ago, I have been waiting for my boys to be big enough to avail themselves of the stylish star linens. And finally the time came - the boys have moved into junior beds and there was only the choice from eleven bright colors to make. Not an easy choice, as it turned out - I loved all of them.

It all started with a little story that Ariane Christinger and Pia Rykart, owners of 'francis ebet' and long-time friends, now see as funny. "You have to tell it how it was," says Ariane with a smile. As the two had their own children and preferred to dress them in solid-colored rather than patterned tops, both faced the problem that the 'Liebli' at the time were all covered with spots. So they came up with the idea simply to stamp stars and created a whole new look.

Since then the stars have extended to more and more of children’s needs: school pencil cases, bath towels, sport sacks, cuddle cloths, bed linens and sheets. And lovingly handmade, making each piece unique. Especially individual are the assorted sacks and pencil cases, with the option of a name being stamped. Inspiration came from a dear friend of Ariane and Pia, who found a beautiful old hutch with letters at a flea market and entrusted it to them.
