.How to get there
Here, you can start the day with a fabulous breakfast under beautiful, metre-high ceilings richly decorated with stucco. You can go straight on to an aperitif and later to a stylish dinner. A deliciously buttery croissant from the Collective Bakery goes perfectly with the perfect flat white in the morning with a small milk foam heart.
Also delicious for breakfast: creamy buffalo milk quark topped with homemade granola and wild berry compote. In the afternoon, blinis with bonito mousse, yuzu, trout roe, or the finest Kristal caviar are the perfect way to satisfy a small appetite.
Toast to the end of the day with a glass of Negroni or an alcohol-free Alpine Spritz with ginger, quince, honey and tonic. A delicious snow crab cocktail with tomato jam, avocado and butter brioche is the perfect start to a dinner with friends or a date.
This is followed by a perfectly formed paccheri with lobster ragout, taggiasca olives and fennel sugo or a fine saddle of veal with lardo, Brussels sprouts and green pepper jus. Equally sophisticated are champagne risotto or scallops with brown butter, vinegar capers, cauliflower and almonds.
Of course, a glass of vintage champagne is the perfect accompaniment. Where, if not here, does the joie de vivre jump out at you from the menu. To achieve this, the team of Nenad Mlinarevic and Valentin Diem have created Brasserie Süd, a place where master craftsmanship meets a sense of tradition and innovation in equal measure.
This also applies to the origin of the items on the wine list - mainly small to medium-sized family-run wineries supply the wines, which include one or two highlights - as well as to the friendly service and the signature style of the cuisine.
