Brasserie Schiller
Sechseläutenplatz 10
8001 Zurich-District 1
.How to get there
Right in the centre, on Sechseläutenplatz and next to the opera house, you will find Brasserie Schiller in the historical building of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Here, modern cuisine virtually celebrates the French art of living.
Whether for lunch, business lunch or dinner, the menu offers a savoir-vivre of pleasure. Of course, the classics of brasserie cuisine are served here, such as a tender entrecote 'Café de Paris' with wild broccoli and crispy Züri Frites or 'Moules marinières à la crème', also accompanied by Züri Frites.
But the traditional 'Zürcher Kalbsgeschnetzelte' with crispy Rösti is also served. The 'Schiller Garden Burger' in a brioche sesame bun with smoked raclette cheese and lettuce, tomatoes and BBQ sauce is particularly unusual.
In the Goethe Bar, which is part of the Schiller Brasserie, you can relax in a lounge atmosphere at any time of the day. Delicious breakfast variations are served here before work or on the weekend for brunch. Whether croissants or brioches, pain au chocolat and baguettes, fresh eggs and various cheeses, crêpes or oysters, fortunately, there are no limits to your appetite.
Later in the day, you can end work with light snacks, a glass of wine, or a classic cocktail and enjoy the view of the bustling Sechseläutenplatz at Bellevue.
