In its products, MBzwo unites the traditional joinery of a 40-year-old family business in Ostwestfalen with a fresh design and a modern distribution system in a very clever, contemporary and sustainable way. And to top it off, everything is customisable!

Next to an ever increasing selection of design seating furniture, everything at MBzwo revolves around tables. The customer can choose between an incredible ten types of wood and sortings. In addition, there are countless surface treatments.

"The table is the social meeting point of a home", says Ehlhardt. "Stories are written on it." So of course it is nice for the customer to be closely involved in the process. - But only if they would like to be! Alternatively, a table can also always be ordered directly to your house with just a few clicks.

"Now and then we even send our customers pictures of the unprocessed wood to make it possible for them to help decide on the individual wood grain or the number of branches contained", Ehlhardt, who founded MBzwo with his girlfriend Karina Buschsieweke four years ago, shares.

She also played a role in coming up with the idea for MBzwo, since the furniture workshops Buschsieweke – MB for short, belong to her family. The high quality and precise processing in the rich in tradition joinery had fascinated Johann Ehlhardt from the beginning. He began designing accessories with which he created the foundation for the MBzwo online shop.

These days MBzwo is made of a five-person team which also includes Ehlhardt's brother Lukas. MBzwo is simply a true family affair. The Berlin showroom recently moved from Engeldamm to the middle of Köpenicker Avenue in Rummelsburg to present even more models live.
