Ruby Store Avant-garde, elegant fashion in Glockenbach

The Ruby store in the Glockenbach neighbourhood is considered a Munich fashion mecca. There are around 30 different high-quality brands in the range - preferably from France, Scandinavia and Italy. Owner Mary Monschizada focuses on a successful mix of timeless basics and hip trend pieces.

British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood summarises the shopping zeitgeist well: "Buy less, but choose wisely." Munich-based Mary Monschizada has also organised her Ruby Store boutique in Glockenbach according to this premise.

Since 2010, the shop has been offering selected fashion pieces such as jeans, coats and tops for women and men, as well as accessories such as shoes, bags and jewellery. "Our labels are characterised by timeless to trendy cuts and high-quality materials," explains Ruby Store owner Mary Monschizada.

There are around 30 different brands to discover in the boutique, including trendy companies such as Autry, Anine Bing, A.P.C. and Mother Denim. "We have often been the first shop in the whole of Germany or Munich to stock certain brands," says Mary Monschizada.

In addition to a feel for trends, the personalised advice in the Ruby store is also outstanding: Which piece will enhance a basic look? How do you create an exciting mix of materials, and which cuts flatter which body shape?

The professional fashion expertise is just as impressive as the beautiful, newly designed interior. Instead of minimalist grey tones, green nuances now dominate. Visual highlight: the rear room with animal wallpaper. This was created exclusively for the Ruby Store by a Berlin designer and made by hand. Everything has been carefully selected.
