The small gelateria on Romanplatz is Munich's first South American ice cream parlour and, in terms of taste, can be seen as a counterpart to the infamous Italian Balla Beni.
The creative ice cream minds behind Patagon Helados are the married couple Sebastian and Fernanda Scovenna and Adrian Pisani. They wow us with flavours like lemon-basil-ginger, chocolate-orange and the Argentinian bestseller dulce de leche - milk caramel.
The ingredients are fresh, the service friendly, and the interior inviting. Moreover, no flavour enhancers, preservatives or colourings are used. Tip: It is best to combine a visit to the ice cream parlour with a walk through Nymphenburg Palace Park, which is only a few minutes away.
