.How to get there
Delicious cakes, good coffee and beautiful surroundings: that's all a successful café really needs. And yet, as so often in life, it's the little things that make the difference or upgrade a café to a genuine recommendation.
Dolcilicious is such an insider tip. The shop in the basement of a house in Schwabing scores with its stylish interior (dark blue benches, crockery in pastel shades), warm service, and sustainable products. Owner Stefanie Seybold attaches great importance to seasonal ingredients, regional suppliers and organic quality.
Everything is homemade, no artificial flavours, primarily gluten-free and vegan - that's the motto for the homemade cakes, tarts and sweet pastries as well as the delicate breakfast dishes. Until 2 p.m., you can order Bircher muesli, scones, wholemeal sandwiches with hummus and aubergine cream, as well as egg dishes on the spot - or take them home as a brunch box to go.
Hearty lunch dishes such as sandwiches and soups and small sales like Zotter chocolate and regional coffee complete the offer at Dolcilicious.
"Sustainability is fundamental to me, and it starts in small ways. For example, the toilets only have cloth towels and soap bars from a local soap manufacturer that has sorted them out," says owner Stefanie Seybold.
At Dolcilicious, families, in particular, get their money's worth - not only because of the range of baked goods suitable for children, which are prepared with sugar substitutes such as agave syrup or honey, but also thanks to the extensive play corner with a doll's kitchen & co.
Dolcilicious is a café with a heart that we like to visit regularly. And anyone who can't make it there themselves should order one of Stefanie Seybold's homemade cakes online in the webshop. Honestly, the chocolate-salted caramel tart is worth every crumb. Just a perfect dolci.
