Bum Bum Bar Wines and fresh oysters with funk music

True to the motto "Wine, Food, Funk", the Bum Bum Bar in the Glockenbach district serves Italian specialities, fresh oysters and fine wines to 70s music - in a groovy interior with pink tiles complete with disco ball and golden bar stools.

The bar scene is like your daily wardrobe: sometimes you want to be relaxed and casual, sometimes elegant and sophisticated. If you long for the disco beats of the 70s but prefer to sip high-quality wines rather than cocktails, the Bum Bum Bar is the place for you.

Just a few metres from Viktualienmarkt, the owners of Blaue Libelle opened their bar in Glockenbach in the autumn of 2023. The pink ambience with green and gold colour accents, disco ball on the ceiling and neon lights on the wall exude retro charm without being too nostalgic.

In addition to the extensive wine list, the Bum Bum Bar serves Italian creations by Sicilian chef Riccardo's - from marinated Sardinia, tuna tartare and Parma ham as appetisers to variously filled calzones and roast beef sandwiches as main courses.

Charming: the classic bum bum ice cream on a stick for dessert. Alternatively, there is a choice of sweet chocolate cannoli with a modern twist. They are just as flavourful as the culinary highlight of the bar, the fresh oysters with lemon and rosé wine vinaigrette.
