Botanista Café Club Green indulgence like in New York

A paradise for health-conscious gourmets: Opened in 2021, the bar-restaurant Botanista Café Club in Glockenbach scores with green cosiness - plants, swing seats, boho chic! - delicious healthy food and a unique activity programme.

How about a free ten-minute happy dance workout while you wait for your sugar-free protein-vanilla yoghurt bowl with homemade granola? Or a short anti-stress session until the cauliflower dough pizza is on the table?

The two German owners, Susanne Wiegand and Maximilian Ebner, honed their innovative activity concept, which currently takes place on selected weekdays, during their time in New York. "Our restaurant is more than just a place. It's a feeling," explains owner Susanne. 

As a small homage to the Big Apple, Botanista also offers detox water on the menu, and you can only pay by credit card, not cash. In keeping with the hip flair, from March 2022 there will also be a yoga session every Tuesday and Saturday morning from 7:45am to 8:30am, including a small breakfast. Brunch parties with live DJs are also planned.

It is not only the tropical, relaxed interior that contributes to the feel-good atmosphere but also the warm service and the healthy menu with the motto "healthy, sugar-free and yet delicious". All vegetarian-vegan dishes such as pasta, bowls or salads are made from regional-seasonal ingredients and can be personalised with high-quality meat or fish toppings. Gluten-free options are also available, and homemade is the word of the day. "We make as much as we can ourselves - even many of the drinks and sauces," says owner Susanne.

Sweet desserts like raw cakes and banana bread can also be enjoyed with a clear conscience because they don't contain industrial sugar and are predominantly low-carb. This even applies to the delicious chocolate lava cake - a highlight! 

So if you want to get a taste of American air in Munich without a GreenCard and also love a green lifestyle and healthy enjoyment, Botanista Café Club is just the place for you.
