Skin Biology Center Hamburg's Finest Fountain of Youth

Today, my skin got to celebrate Easter and Christmas all at the same time because I spoiled it with a 3-hour skin regeneration treatment at Hamburg's finest beauty and spa salon. I left behind the buzz of the city and entered the building behind the Alte Oberpostdirektion on Stephansplatz. The stately backyard alone had me in a different world.

I waited for my cosmetician in the lounge area. A fine selection of beauty products like SBT- Sensitive Biology Therapy, Dr. Dennis Gross and Peter Thomas Roth, that are also used for the treatments in-house, adorn the walls and shelves. Ms. Hensel welcomed me warmly and lead me to the treating room on the first floor. Each of the eight employees here have been trained medically and dermatologically, so I felt like I was in good hands.

Skin I had booked the Medical Intense treatment, which was developped exclusively and in collaboration with the medical team behind Dermatologikum. It starts off with Microneedling – small sterile titanium needles are rolled over the skin and reactivate the individual receptors which provokes a natural regeneration process. A cold laser then induces hyaluronic acid directly into the skin. Both procedures are completely pain-free and one look into the mirror proves it: the treatment really works. My skin looked even and plump.

But what really convinced me besides the overall wonderful atmosphere, the modern care treatments and Ms. Hensel's magic hands: at Skin Biology Center it's really all about you as a person, and your skin. They really only determine your treatment after a thorough 30 minute anamnesis in the beginning.
