Pure Glow Danish Glamour

Okay, we admit it: as Hamburg natives, we girls can't deny occasionally eyeing our Nordic neighbors – Copenhagen, to be exact. Elegantly well, yet indescribably casually dressed women as far as the eye can see!

We're all the more excited that in the future, we won't have to cross the sea every time we want to indulge in Scandinavian fashion. Pure Glow, a fantastic store in Winterhude, just opened its doors in April and can make any Danish design lover's heart beat a little faster.

Owner Chris Weier, fan of Danish fashion and design herself, had spent years looking for a store in Hamburg that would cater to her taste in fashion until she promptly decided to open up shop on her own. Her inspiration is unmistakably rooted in the streets of Copenhagen: “There are only very few cities worldwide where women are able to combine elegance and coolness in their looks, the way they do it in Copenhagen”.

Pure Glow is trying to introduce this very combination of purism and glamour, that Danish women so naturally bring with them, to the Hanseatic city. Trend labels such as Designers Remix, Baum and Pferdgarten or Munthe are staples. American denim brands Koral LA and Goldsign, or French label Surface to Air complete the collection that also carries all-natural spa-products by Karmameju or nail polishes by Kure Bazaar of Paris.

And here's something to mark in your calendar: on a monthly basis, you're invited to roam the store while sipping on an after-work drink through 9 pm!
