Ice cream in the realm of the Zuckermonarchie The ice cream parlour has opened its doors

The royal house of our hearts has grown. The ice cream princess has entered the realm of Zuckermonarchie. Since the beginning of May, delicious and unique ice cream has been available at the shop next to Zuckermonarchie's main house. Inspired by the cake creations of the confectioners, the ice-cold works of art are tastefully convincing and come in a splendid guise. 

We were invited to pay homage to the monarch and licked our way through cookie ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, soft ice cream and macaron ice cream sandwiches. Not only does it sound delicious, it is. 

For the cookie ice cream sandwiches, American cookies are first baked to be topped with pretzels, nuts, sprinkles or other treats. Then, soft ice cream awaits the palate between the cookies, creating a perfect crunch and smooth cream combination.

The soft ice cream at Zuckermonarchie is made with organic milk and only ingredients of natural origin. Fresh fruit, Belgian chocolate and real bourbon vanilla melt into creamy indulgence here. For the macaron ice cream sandwiches, two fine macaron shells enclose creamy ice cream and combine in the mouth to create a taste explosion. Here, too, you can see and taste that the cake creations of the Zuckermonarchie were the source of inspiration.

My personal favourite of our fabulous excursion: the strawberry ice cream on a stick à la Zuckermonarchie. The popsicles are all vegan, and only fresh fruit, Belgian chocolate, vegan coconut yoghurt and crunchy nuts are used. The popsicles come in flavours like lemon, passion fruit, and thyme crumble. We tested the classic strawberry variant and were blown away. Very fruity, refreshing with a slightly crystalline, delicately melting texture.

The fact that many of the ice cream creations are gluten-free is further good news. The confectioners of the Zuckermonarchie have created works of ice cream art that are too delicious not to try.  So get the carriage there soon or send a text message to the litter bearers to be driven or carried to Taubenstraße.
