Eisprinzessinnen Royal Ice Cream Treat in Ottensen

A big sundae is currently the the best accessorie on a sunny latesummer day, as we will have to make it through the winter months without our favorite delicacy soon. So it is time to enjoy it one last time! The name Eisprinzessinnen itself suggests that these ice cream creations are prepared with love. And that is exactly how it is done.

Lara Maria Priebe and Katrin Kerkhoff have been spoiling the natives of Hamburg in Ottensen with extraordinary flavours such as passionfruit-mint, tonka bean, rice pudding, white coffee, or cucumber since 2014. The poppy seed ice cream is our favorite. Add a scoop of vanilla and you have the perfect latesummer combination.

The former architects created a cozy café where people enjoy lingering and feasting on the flavors of ice cream which are beautifully arranged in jars. They forgo preservatives and artificial colors as well as emulsifiers and artificial aromas when they prepare their ice cream behind the counter. Local ingredients and a large portion of passion are used instead and you can taste it!
