The story about the Brand ‘By Malene Birger’ is like the fairytale ‘The ugly duckling’ written by the famous H.C.Andersen. 

Malene Birger founded the fashion house ‘Day Birger et Mikkelsen’ in collaboration with Keld Mikkelsen back in 1997. After 5 years at 'Day', Malene Birger choose to start her own company called ‘By Malene Birger’ in 2003. From the safe collaboration in ‘Day’  - Malene took a leap of faith and introduced her own very feminine brand. The brand started of as a huge success and her clothing line soon became a part of any Danish girls wardrobe.

I have always adored her classic wearable designs and a season never goes by without me owning a little piece from her universe. I really love all her designs – but they always have a funny and unexpected twist. I feel well dressed and confident in her designs and I love the fact that she always has pieces with sparkle, glitter and soft silk in her designs.
