Luckily, the days of soggy, burnt dough and cheap mozzarella are over. For some time, Berlin can hardly save itself from various providers of tasty Neapolitan pizza and the makers of Pizzeria Zola have definitely contributed towards this trend.
The pizza is so popular that there are now several branches. Fortunately, because at the Funkhaus Nalepastraße it is just particularly beautiful and idyllic. Just like at Paul-Linke-Ufer in Kreuzberg district, the original Neapolitan oven produces excellent pizzas with fluffy edges and a deliciously fluffy base.
They offer classic variations such as Margherita, Marinara and Salami, but the one with artichokes and zucchini is particularly tasty, as is the Bianca without tomato sauce. By the way, you can eat the extremely good pizza at Zola located inside the Funkhaus right on the waterfront. Add a glass of vino or spritz and it almost feels like a short trip to southern Italy.
Right next door, by the way, is the Milkbar inside Funkhaus - with pretty good schnitzels and equally nice places at the water.
By the way, Zola also made it into our Top 10 Pizza list in Berlin.
