The next time you crave a glass of wine at a late hour, when your wine storage is actually empty, you now have a new destination. Owner Gülcin Banat opened up Berlin's first upscale deli Whatever in 2013 and offers a hand-picked selection of about 400 different wines, sparkling wines and champagne. Costs per bottle vary from 7€ to 149€ so everyone gets what they want out of the grapevine.

Similar in its extension, the beer assortment offers everything from the most popular Southern German brews to exotic variations with hemp or strawberry infusions. This deli is not open to insomniacs only by the way: Banat opens her beautifully decorated corner store, equipped with a nostalgic shabby white counter and cooling shelves that cover a 10m wall, at 1pm daily.

And apart from countless other liquors and spirits like whiskey or a delicious pear cider, there's also a small selection of groceries available. This leaves us all with no possible excuse for not sticking with BYOB requests, no reason why you shouldn't throw your own little impromptu party, and no time for apologies like "Sorry you can't come up, but I'm all out of liquor".
