True Italian Pizza Week 2022 November 15th – 21st

Whether it's a cosy evening in front of the TV, a picnic in the park with friends or birthday celebrations with the whole family. Pizza is a faithful companion in every situation in life. Prepared correctly - in the original Italian style, of course - it is a piece of Italy at home and an unbeatable remedy for homesickness when away from home. It is precisely in its simplicity that Pizza Neapolitana has become a culinary constant in all our lives. Or can you imagine a world without pizza?
Since 2017, Neapolitan pizza has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is just another reason to dedicate an entire week to it again this year. And so, from the 15th to the 21st of November 2022, True Italian Pizza Week will take place across Germany to celebrate the qualities of authentic Italian pizza.
In a total of over 300 selected Italian restaurants, a pizza and a spritz will be offered for only 15 euros during the event week. Simply ask for the True Italian offer at the respective participating restaurant.
You can always choose between two special pizzas. In Berlin, for example, in addition to The Grain and Trattoria á Muntagnola, you also have the agonising choice between Pizza Carbonara and Pizza Ortolana at Ammazza Che Pizza. Things get a little more unusual at Pizzeria Napoletana. Here you can choose between Pizza Mimosa with corn, red peppers and parmesan or Pizza Porchetta & Friggitelli with crispy porchetta and sweet peppers.
Numerous other cities, for example, Munich or Hamburg, also have a lot to offer. All participating restaurants and the pasta dishes served there can be found here >>. Part of the event week is a photo competition in which you can win a stay for two in Naples, a professional Ooni pizza oven for home use and three Aperol surprise packages.
To enter, simply take a picture while visiting one of the participating restaurants and post it on Instagram with the hashtags #trueitalianpizzaweek and #togetherwithaperol, tag the profile @trueitalianfood and locate the respective restaurant.
