Barcelona is a veritable paradise for foodies and is known for its imaginative and innovative gastronomic scene. Whether it's traditional tapas, exciting fusion cuisine or witty molecular cuisine, the Mediterranean metropolis offers some of the most renowned chefs in Europe.
One of them is Michelin-starred chef Bernat Plana López. Before teaching at CETT University of Tourism and Gastronomy, he cooked for four years at El Celler de Can Roca, twice named 'world's best restaurant' by Restaurant Magazine. On Sunday, November 7, the hip Kink Restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg will offer a glimpse into the Barcelonetian chef's cuisine.
Like Kink Restaurant itself, he stands for a cuisine that loves experimentation and is always willing to push culinary boundaries (we're just saying asparagus ice cream!). For one evening in Berlin, he's serving a special tasting menu. Celebrating some of his favorite ingredients from Catalonia. In addition to the Kink's fall menu, three courses from Plana López will be served, including suckling pig, bacalao and oysters.
You can order his dishes individually or as part of a menu. As you would expect at Kink, special drink pairings from the bar and sommeliers will also be served to accompany them. We are sure: Estarà deliciós!
