.How to get there
The Berlin branch of the Nolde Foundation Sebüll, to me is one of the city's most beautiful museums and a veritable meditative retreat secluded from the big exhibition halls that surround it. In the context of regularly changing exhibitions, these bright rooms, situated on Jägerstraße, reveal a different facet of the artist and thus show his enormous diversity and the richness of his œuvre.
Apart from temporary exhibitions of his paintings, the modern premises host a series of events like lectures and concerts, but are also available for rent for private events.
Another outstanding concept is Art&Lunch, a collaboration between the foundation and high-end restaurant Fischers Fritz. With every purchase of a regular museum ticket between noon and 2 pm, lunch at star chef Christian Lohse's nearby gourmet oasis is included. It's the perfect fusion: haute cuisine and art at their best!
