Rosa Canina Top quality organic ice cream all year round

You might think that everything has already been said about good ice cream parlours in Berlin. What else should come after Fräulein Frost's cucumber-lemon-mint ice cream or the delicious dried Marilla with candied pine nuts and white pepper from the Vanille & Marille range?

The answer is Rosa Canina! The fine assortment in Hufelandstraße is the tip of the Berlin iceberg for me this season. I was convinced by 'Pumpkin Seed', for example: Not too sweet and with a wonderfully pithy note, it was a perfect match for the last sunny autumn days. At the same time, the taste is by no means too extravagant or fancy. It simply tastes wonderfully creamy, slightly nutty and, above all, natural.

And that's what it is: each scoop contains the finest organic ingredients without the addition of preservatives. Since 2008, the ice cream has been lovingly made in the Prenzelberger Manufaktur in Pasteurstraße according to traditional craftsmanship and the Italian model, and is now also available in Kreuzberg's Markthalle Neun and now all year round on Hufelandstraße.

Here, in addition to pumpkin seed, pistachio or black sesame, chocolate and vanilla are definitely among my favourites. And that's saying something - as we all know, these ice cream classics show the actual skill of an ice cream maker. Moreover, the small ice cream parlour is extremely cosy for the cold season, especially when the smell of fresh homemade waffles fills the room from now on, and the summer ice cream thus becomes definitely winter-proof!

Conclusion: For me, Rosa Canina's combination of exceptional taste and 'simply' good ice cream is perfect. So perfect, in fact, that it's definitely worth keeping a few storage cups in the freezer at home to surprise your best friends with the ice cream. - A storm of enthusiasm is guaranteed!
