Bar Brass
Am Spreebord 9
10589 Berlin-Charlottenburg
.How to get there
The restaurant Bar Brass, not far from Richard-Wagner-Platz, is part of the art foundry Naack. In the light flooded, modern space in northwest Charlottenburg, chef Reza Dainabi has set up the perfect stage for his lighter take on French bistro cuisine. In the puristic building with its exposed concrete, high ceilings and plenty of glass, the restaurant is the real highlight.
Dainabi combines traditional, French culinary technique with international influences and, sometimes, a hint of oriental spices. The modern interpretation of brasserie-style cooking is a hit. Both for lunch and for dinner. Almost daily, new dishes appear on the menu at Bar Brass, depending on what’s available at the market.
The restaurant also offers a selection of courses that you can combine yourself, including vegetarian options, which are wonderfully light and never overpowering. Fish and seafood is supplied by a Dutch fishmonger, everything else is primarily delivered by suppliers from the surrounding region, and the cheese is supplied by Maitre Philippe in Wilmersdorf.
The restaurant prides itself in its fermenting and pickling, and the beers are from the Berlin-based craft beer breweries, while the small but mighty wine menu boasts a wealth of natural wines.
