But the range of cheesecake varieties only becomes evident when you take the step past the displays into the store that is Conny Suhr's lifelong dream.

Apart from the classic German Käsekuchen, you will find countless cake dreams come true from all over the world. All prepared with either quark, yoghurt or cream cheese, and every day bringing up different variations. All cakes are baked on the spot in the little open kitchen and are prepared with visible love for detail and the best ingredients.

My personal favorites were the Champagne and the Poppy Seed Cream Cake. They're both lightly sweet which gives all other ingredients enough room to unfold their flavors. Not the next big thing for the sugar lovers among you, but definitely a piece of heaven for any gourmet!
