If you want to go from Kreuzberg to Friedrichshain, there is only one option to pass the Spree: the Oberbaumbrücke. Since 18th century the first bridge was connecting the two districts here.
The towers made from bricks are unique and a real landmark. At the top the U-Bahn U1, below cars and pedestrians pass the bridge with a beautiful sight on Berlin skyline.
An architectural piece of work that easily rivals Tower Bridge in London. And while on the way to one of the many bars around Simon-Dach-Straße or Schlesisches Tor, you should not miss the view!
