A purple midi dress by ESCADA or rather the cream-colored suit by Victoria Geiser and the shoulder bag by Louis Vuitton? You can rent these high-quality pieces for as little as €9 per day - rental fashion is the new way to enjoy clothing and accessories consciously and sustainably. From September 23 to 29, the fashion rental platform WeDress Collective can be found for the first time as a pop-up in Friedrichstraße. Every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., you can take a look at the current fashion range on site, try it on and talk to founder Jasmin Huber in a relaxed atmosphere with music and drinks.

WeDress is an online platform for discerning fashion enthusiasts who like to dress stylishly and with variety, but still want to enjoy fashion sustainably. High-quality clothing and accessories can be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis over a self-defined period of time from other private individuals within Berlin. The registration on WeDress is free of charge - only with the switching a commission for the lending person results.

It is noteworthy that WeDress attaches great importance to inclusion, for example, with regard to the size range of the clothing offered: In addition to dresses beyond size L, the start-up is recently pleased about the cooperation with the Berlin fashion label AUF AUGENHOEHE, whose offer is aimed at people of small stature.

With the pop-up, Jasmin wants to create visibility for the rental concept and give visitors the opportunity to get their own impression of the clothes and the rental experience beyond the Internet: "It's primarily about fashion, fun and getting to know the people behind WeDress! We want to create a place where people interested in fashion feel like trying WeDress for themselves."

At this point, WeDress already exists in Berlin, Munich and Vienna. However, further cities are already being planned - so we can currently look forward to Cologne and Hamburg, which will soon go online with new designer pieces.
