.How to get there
Undoubtedly one of the prettiest destinations for an excursion to the Berlin surroundings is Heilandskirche Sacrow close to Potsdam. Since 1844 the church stands next to the Havel riverside and is today a site of Unesco World Cultural Heritage. Frederick William IV designed the church and architect Ludwig Persius planned the construction.
At the bottom of the Sacrow castle, surrounded by its castle grounds, the church is a popular destination. The park was designed by well-known gardener Peter Joseph Lenné and is perfect to go for a walk or a tour on a bicycle.
