POW! POW! And POW again! Entering Crackers is taking a plunge, immersing yourself in what makes Berlin unique. A filmset. A stage. A powerful location. We're overwhelmed, in disbelief, and very curious.

Crackers is both bar and restaurant. Surreal. Full of energy. It's dark and wicked, yet light and cool. A foreign world, pulling you in. Fridays and Saturdays – as well as Thursdays during winter – various DJs spin their tracks here. The music carries us to our place.

The interior was arranged individually, each piece of furniture self-designed. A breathtaking mix, a magical orchestration we want to be a part of. Even the menu draws our gaze with respectful reverence.

The server brings aromatic brioche with butter. Warm, airy, almost unbearable – but we restrain ourselves and start with fennel salad and hamachi carpaccio.

A wonderful attunement, which we enjoy with a glass of "cloudy bay", a white wine from New Zealand that entices our senses even before the first sip. In the meantime, everything becomes part of the music. Pulsing, captivating.

The carabineros served for the main course – red jumbo shrimp caught in the Mediterranean Sea – dance on our tongues in a marinade of lemon salt, red pepperoni, and coriander.

Speaking of being "caught"… At Crackers, all animal products are sourced from ethical suppliers. It makes it pricier, but also notably tastier! Our carabineros are certainly stunning!

The mood in the room gently shifts. It's finally time to check out the neighbouring tables… Couples, small groups, young and old alike. Everyone seems to be having a good time. Cookie has brought people together and once again proven that he knows how to entertain. The party continues!
