Café Einstein A Little Bit of Vienna in Berlin

Countless touching stories twine around this elegant town house on Berlins Kurfürstenstraße 58. Actors and actresses play a big part and, of course, love affairs… 30 years ago, Café Einstein gave birth to Berlin's very coffee house culture.

This old hand of a coffee house is still one of the best Viennese Coffee Houses worldwide. A true Berlin institution that even despite losing some of its original charm with the parting of the originally Austrian staff's brittle nature, is still very much worth each and every visit.

Coffee and apfelstrudel are almost incomparable, the schnitzel is a reliable choice and the house's architecture as such already makes up half of the spectacle. One last highlight is the back garden of the house, it's exceptionally beautiful on a warm summer evening!
