.How to get there
With Brasserie Colette, Berlin’s most internationally-renowned chef Tim Raue proves that he’s also got a sweet spot for French cuisine. Contrary to his two-Michelin star restaurant Tim Raue, at Brasserie Colettehe’s making waves with relaxed, feel-good cooking that we can’t get enough of. French home cooking at the highest level!
The interior of Brasserie Coletteis already making a statement. Designed by renowned Berlin-based architect duo Ester Bruzkus and Patrick Batek, countless classic brasserie-style elements define the ambiance, such as wall-to-wall benches, mosaic floors, vintage chair and marble tables.
Especially eye-catching are the historic wall coverings made of old pharmacy cabinets, set up opposite the bar. But also the once-benches out of a French train, where guests are invited to take a seat, have made a lasting impression on us, while conveying French charm and homeliness.
While enjoying a glass of Champagne we decide on the "Moroccan Prawns" and tuna tartar as starters as well as octopus and a club sandwich as mains. The prawns, made with pistachios and cumin-mayo, have us feeling ecstatic. But also the passion fruit-dressed tuna tartar has got us cheering.
The club sandwich makes an impression not only with its flavours but also visually. The octopus too, wins us over with its tenderness and the delicious dips. A modern interpretation of "Peach Melba" makes it a wrap. À bientot, Brasserie Colette, we will be back!
Tip. Brasserie Colette offers a changing lunch menu every day between 12 and 15h at 18€ for two courses and 24€ for three!
