Bakery Mälzer Traditional baking craft since 1899

Bakery Mälzer has existed for more than 115 years. The grandfather of the current owner Klaus Mälzer settled in Berlin with his wife Anna and has been supplying Berliners with the best baked goods ever since.

Of course, they still bake their own fresh bread every day. Fresh wholemeal bread and rolls, cakes and pastries, biscuits and other delicacies made according to traditional recipes are sold over the counters of the now six branches. No preservatives or chemical leavening agents are used in any of the products.

Especially now at winter time, the Christmas biscuits such as Spekulatius, cinnamon stars and co. are a delicious highlight for all those who lack the leisure to bake themselves in the often stressful pre-Christmas period. Especially the Berliners are also among the best in town, along with those from the organic pastry shop Tillmann! 

In summer, you should definitely try the fabulous strawberry tarts!
